During much of 2023 I had the opportunity to work on a massive rebrand for Walmart. With the help of creative director Andy Lyon I developed the motion theory, based around a minimalist approach that put editorial and product imagery front and center. Then, I continued to refine and evolve the visual language over the course of multiple consecutive workstreams, resulting in dozens of spots. I developed an animation guide for the campaign, and was instrumental in setting the tone for all animated and editorial content. The conceptual underpinnings of the campaign were incredibly strong, and it felt good standing on the shoulders of the giants at agencies Publicis and Sylvain.
