In early 2017 I developed the concept for and art directed a LED sculpture for the Downtown LA restaurant Mas Malo. My creative partner David Glicksman and I worked with the brilliant designer Jean-Michel Verbeeck to design the structure, then worked with a team of fabricators to create the modular physical forms and install them. The team at BUCK designed and used a custom After Effects template to animate a range of seasonal animations that played on a loop daily until the closure of the restaurant in mid-2018.
